One Dead after Crash Near 14th and Capitol

Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Thursday, January 5, around 8:15 AM in the 1300 block of W. Capitol Drive. A BMW X3, being driven by a 26-year old Milwaukee man was traveling westbound on W. Capitol Drive at a high rate of speed.
The BMW struck a Chevy Astro which was traveling south across Capital Drive on N. 13th Street. The driver of the Chevy Astro, a 52-year old Milwaukee man, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The 26-year old was arrested on suspicion of operating under the influence causing death.
