Annual State of the State address
OTTAWA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Early Christmas morning around 1:30 a.m. the Western Lakes Fire District based in Oconomowoc responded for a crash between a pickup truck and tree on Highway 67 south of Highway D in Ottawa.
When crews arrived they found the pickup pinned against the tree with significant damage. It took first responders 20 minutes to get two people out of the truck.
Both patients were taken to the hospital. A child was taken by Flight For Life to Children's Hospital with critical injuries.
Crews were on scene for nearly six hours.
