Cinco de Mayo celebration held at UMOS Center
Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Summer’s almost here, so it’s time to get your grillin’ game on! CBS58 spent a little time this morning with an expert from Stein’s about the best way to grill your meats, veggies, fish, and fruits . The biggest mistake? Not keeping a lid on it! If you keep peeking at your food being cooked, you face uneven heating and longer wait times. Meantime, there are now high tech gadgets to help you along with the process. You can mow your grass, look at your smartphone, and determine if your burger is ready or not.
One of the latest grilling crazes is the wood pellet electric grill. It’s really a smoker. You can cook an entire chicken in 70 minutes. If you want to learn more about being grill savvy, Stein’s is hosting a barbeque demo at many of its stores this Saturday between 10 am and 2 pm. Also, starting Wednesday and going through next Tuesday, Stein's will pay your sales tax if you decide to actually purchase a new grill.
