JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Officials say roughly 70,000 gallons of oil from a pipeline spilled into the ground in western Jefferson County.
The problem was discovered on Nov. 11 by an Enbridge energy technician in the town of Oakland. Enbridge says the spill on the company's line six was caused by a faulty connection of a pump transfer pipe.
The Canadian company says about 60% of the spill has been removed through evacuation.
