Officials pull body from Milwaukee River

Milwaukee Police pulled a body out of the Milwaukee River just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the 200 block of North Water Street. MPD says it's waiting for a positive I.D. before releasing any more information.

On Saturday, a 47-year-old man jumped in the river from a tour boat and was never recovered. The man was one of 134 passengers on the Miss Wisconsin tour boat Saturday night. He appeared to be alone on the cruise and jumped into the water after midnight. Again, police are not saying that man is the one recovered from the river. They are waiting for identification from the medical examiner's office.
