MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A former assistant coach for the Milwaukee Wave is going to trial.
Arthur Kramer is accused of tackling an 8-year-old girl.
Kramer's 10 and 7-year-old daughters told Waukesha County investigators that he can be abusive.
As part of his bond, Kramer was denied access to his children.
In court Wednesday, Oct. 16, his attorney requested supervised contact.
"This case does have a history to it of accusations that have been made that have not been substantiated, both by CPS and the District Attorney's office," said Rebecca Coffee, defense attorney.
"I would wonder if family court is better suited to re-evaluate this situation now that there have been criminal charges," said Waukesha County District Attorney Michael Thurston.
The court commissioner denied the request.
