Officials: 1 dead, 3 more injured following crash in Dodge County

OAK GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened in Oak Grove on Wednesday, June 16.

Officials say it happened at 12:52 p.m. on State Highway 33 near North Grove Road.

An initial investigation showed a Ford truck crossed the center line and struck a Buick.

Officials say the driver of the Buick, a 50-year-old Lake Mills woman, was pronounced dead on the scene. A 12-year-old passenger in the Buick sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by LifeNet Air Methods.

Officials say the 47-year-old Horicon man who was driving the Ford sustained  serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by a flight for life helicopter. A 44-year-old passenger in the Ford was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
