OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Oconomowoc police are investigating after taking a report about a suspicious person offering a child candy to leave with him. 

The call to police came in Thursday, June 22 around 6:41 p.m. 

Police say the incident happened in the area of Imagination Station in Roosevelt Park. 

According to officials, the caller reported her 5-year-old child was offered a sucker by a "suspicious person" to leave with him. 

The suspicious person was described by the child as being, "a big kid," wearing a black shirt and jeans, and carrying a backpack. 

Police say the caller did not see the person and no other reports have been made. 

Surveillance is being reviewed from the area. 

Anyone who encounters suspicious behavior is urged to contact police.
