Oconomowoc man arrested for 4th OWI after driving car into ditch

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 36-year-old Oconomowoc man has been arrested for his 4th OWI after driving drunk early Sunday morning.

State Troopers responded to a report of a car in the ditch on Highway F near Allen Road just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday. When the trooper arrived the driver was not to be found but a witness said the driver had been drinking and walked away to a nearby barn. 

Investigators later learned that the driver had been picked up and taken to a local bar. Troopers later found the driver who refused to take any field sobriety tests. A warrant for a blood draw was obtained and the man was arrested.
