OAK CREEK (CBS 58) -- A Brewers watch party hosted by the Lions Club drew some 200 fans to the Oak Creek community center.
The crowd left happy after the Opening Day win.
This was one of their biggest turnouts since COVID began in 2020.
The watch party was a fundraiser for the Oak Creek Lions Club, which is one of the largest in the state, so they're thrilled that baseball has finally resumed.
"Our event was pushed back a little bit obviously so we're excited, in fact I have goosebumps right now about the Brewers opening, home opening day," said Terry Tveita, Chairman of the Oak Creek Lions Club.
The Lions club describes itself as a service-oriented organization that gives back to the community in several ways.
