OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) – Home furnishings retailer IKEA, plans to open its new Oak Creek location on May 16 at 9 a.m.
The Oak Creek location is the company’s first store in Wisconsin. Previously, customers had to travel to the Bolingbrook or Schaumburg locations in Illinois or the Bloomington store in Minnesota.
According to a press release, customers can begin lining up at the store at 5 a.m. on May 16.
The company will hire around 300 employees to work at the new location.
