NEWBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The homeowners who were inside their house when a car launched into the siding are now speaking about the incident.

Annette and Ken Bienlein were both home when a car went airborne and got lodged into the side of their home.

"Freighting experience," Annette told CBS 58. "I was in the bathroom and I heard this horrible noise. It was horrible."

Ken was in bed when it happened and was showered with glass and debris.

"At first I just didn't - you don't put anything together that happens that fast," he said. "I looked and I could see the bottom of the car sitting there in the building."

Ozaukee County records show Alva Richards was arrested in the crash and released on bail. The Bienlein's said the man came to their house the next day to apologize. Richards was charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and possession of marijuana.

Ken and Annette were not hurt in the incident.
