Madison Police Department MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two men arrested after a reported incident of severe hazing at a fraternity house near UW-Madison will not face criminal charges.
According to the Dane County district attorney, there was not enough evidence to prove a criminal charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
Police arrested the two 20-year-olds for hazing and disorderly conduct in September after finding about 30 young men partially clothed, covered in food, condiments and other substances in an overheated basement of an unsanctioned fraternity.
The fraternity hasn't been officially recognized by UW-Madison since 2015.
