Nice Late Summer Heat Returns

Look at the heat today!  Yes you have to go to Bismarck, ND to see the near 100 degree heat!  Those warm temperatures will be moving our way throughout the weekend.

The cool lake breeze will be replaced by gusty southwest winds tomorrow.  Those winds should push us 5 to 10 degrees above normal.  A weak front arrives on Friday with little chance for a shower or storm.  That boundary won't do much too cool us either with highs in the upper 80s on Friday.

So far this summer MKE has hit 90 degrees twice.  The warmest day was 93 on August 2nd!  The area will be very close to 90 on Sunday.  On average we see 9 days with 90 degree heat in Milwaukee.
