NFLers Home Robbed During the Game
Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware tweeted Tuesday afternoon that he returned home after his team's 27-9 victory over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football to discover his house had been robbed.
Ware's Super Bowl ring was among the items taken, according to Allison Sylte of 9News KUSA.
Ware, 34, has registered four tackles and two sacks in two games for the Broncos this season. The veteran outside linebacker is in his third season with the Broncos and has notched 19.5 sacks in 29 games for Denver, combining with Von Miller to be one of the most fearsome pass-rushing duos in football.
He saved his best for last year's postseason, however, accumulating 10 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a fumble recovery, helping to lead the Broncos to a Super Bowl title.
