WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A summertime tradition is back - the Wisconsin State Fair opens for its 168th year starting Thursday.
As always, fair goers can look forward to dozens of rides, thousands of animals to see, and a million ways for everyone to have a WonderFair time.
Sixty-six new food vendors will be joining the fair this year for a total of more than 400 places to check out for food and beverages.
There is also a new alpaca exhibit to check out.
Wednesday will feature the "shoppers fairadise" promotion with deals made for every bargain hunter's dream.
There will also be 30 stages of entertainment with headliners including REO Speedwagon, Fitz and the Tantrums, Brett Eldredge, Melissa Etheridge and more.
The fair is open Aug. 1-11.
