New Zipper Merge and Long Term Ramp Closures Now in Place along I-894

If your commute takes you between the Hale and Zoo Interchanges be advised of major changes that took place over the weekend.  A new zipper merge and long term closures of three entrance ramps are now in place along I-894 northbound.

Drivers will no longer be able to access I-894 northbound from the National Ave. , Lincoln Ave. or Greenfield Ave. entrance ramps.  Drivers will need to use alternates during these closures.  The newly reopened Oklahoma Ave. on ramp or Beloit Rd. on ramp are available for possible options that drivers could take advantage of.  Hwy 100 or the Mitchell Interchange are also viable alternates.

In addition to these closures a new zipper merge is now place between National and Greenfield Ave. while crews continue the long and extensive work of the Zoo Interchange. 

The zipper merge and ramp closures will remain in place until Fall 2016.
