Milwaukee (CBS 58) -- There's a traffic alert for drivers in Milwaukee.
New track work for the city's streetcar may impact your commute. Construction started Monday on Milwaukee Street between Kilbourn Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue.
Only one southbound lane is open and there's no parking on Milwaukee Street.
Intersections at Wells and Mason Streets will also close from time to time. For an alternate route, Broadway Street is now open to two-way traffic.
Construction is expected to last between 6 and 8 weeks.
