MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Today, Milwaukee celebrated formalizing another sister city relationship with Kragujevac, Serbia, with food, entertainment, and a signing ceremony.
At city hall on Friday, Jan. 26, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson and Mayor Nikola Dašić from Kragujevac signed a sister city agreement.
"Today, Serbia and the US city are united by numerous common beliefs, ideals, and opportunities for cooperation for many years," said Dašić.
"We join this arrangement in the spirit of good will, in the spirit of respect and cooperation, as well as the spirit of peace," said Johnson.
Milwaukee now has seven active sister city relationships.
