New self-serve mattress stores hit Southeast Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE -- A new self-serve mattress retail chain has opened four locations in Southeast Wisconsin. These new stores have no employees, just mattresses for customers to try out on their own.

Hassless Mattress is stocked with several mattress that customers can order using a computer kiosk or their smartphone. The company delivers mattresses to customers using a warehouse in Greendale. 

Hassless Mattress says this unconventional business model offers a no pressure experience. Owner Weston Huth says while the stores are manless, they are very secure. \"We have security cameras in our locations so that we can monitor them. If anyone does anything bad, we've got them on camera,\" says Huth.

New Hassless Mattress stores are located in Brookfield, Greenfield, Mequon, and Germantown.
