New 'Eldr & Rime' restaurant near Mayfair Mall satisfies the taste for Scandinavian cuisine

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fire and ice come together at the brand new "Eldr & Rime" restaurant inside the Renaissance Milwaukee West near Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa. Overall the menu is contemporary American, but is influenced heavily with Scandinavian and Nordic cuisine. A wood-fired oven and grill are two big influences with the menu and are centrally focused with the open kitchen. Steak and seafood, including king crab legs, are two specialties.

At full capacity, there's enough seating for 260, but obviously the number is smaller now to allow for social distancing. You also can find an outside patio for eating and two private dining rooms. Reservations are encouraged.
