MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Milwaukee’s premier spot for sports and entertainment is just waiting for the green light to become a popular hub all over again. But even in the middle of this pandemic, the Deer District just added a new tenant in the shadow of Fiserv Forum right next to the beer garden. This "Insomnia Cookies" location is the third Milwaukee store to open. Meantime, the Milwaukee Buck’s Senior Vice President, Michael Belot, says to expect an opening back up of businesses already there, but it’ll be a rather methodical and carefully planned process.
As far as when the Bucks will start playing again at Fiserv Forum, the Senior VP says both the NBA Commissioner and team’s ownership have to give their blessing first.
"Insomia Cookies" is making deliveries, and curbside service is available. It's open until 3 am. If you want to order, just click here.
