New bus route to connect Titletown to Lambeau Field

A new free G-Line bus route aims to connect Lambeau Field and the Titletown District with downtown Green Bay.
The City of Green Bay worked with  Green Bay Metro Transit and the Green Bay Packers to create this line.
The bus will run every 30 minutes, with stops from Cabela’s along Lombardi Ave., up Broadway to downtown, to the Metro Transit Center on University Ave. The route will be offered Mondays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The G-line’s route, which is now running, will operate during a two-month trial period, after which the use of the route will be reviewed for the future.
Present at the announcement were Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt and Green Bay Metro transit director Patty Kiewiz.
“The G-Line offers fans and visitors to Green Bay a convenient transportation option that connects the dining and entertainment options in the stadium district with the many attractions downtown, including the Packers Heritage Trail,” said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. “With the growth of the convention industry downtown and the development of our Titletown District in the near future, we’re very excited about this opportunity and its potential for the future.”
“We’re so proud of this connection between the Packers and downtown. The bus route passes 33 restaurants and five major attractions, from Cabela’s and Lambeau Field, to the museum, brewery district and convention center,” said Mayor Jim Schmitt. “Visitors can get on and off the bus knowing that transportation will be back within the half hour.”
