New Berlin Police on scene of accident with downed power lines on Sunny Slope Road

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The New Berlin Police Department is currently investigating an auto accident.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The accident caused downed wires.

The area between College and Grange Avenues is currently closed.  Police say the area will remain closed until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Delays are also possible since the accident has taken out the stoplights at Moorland and Grange and Moorland and College.

Police say that if you need to reach Elmwood Elementary School, you'll have to enter from the north on Sunny Slope Road.

The accident occurred just south of the school.

There were no injuries reported in the accident.
