New Berlin girl is now MDA National Ambassador

NEW BERLIN-An 8 year old girl from New Berlin has now been named the Muscular Dystrophy Association's National Goodwill Ambassador.

For the past few years, Regan Imhoff has served as Wisconsin's state ambassador. Now, in her new role, she'll essentially become the face of the organization.

\"I really can't wait to meet all these great people,\" the poised and well spoken girl told CBS 58 News, \"I can't wait to travel and meet new friends and find a cure for muscle disease.\"

MDA is a global non-profit sponsoring research into the causes and treatment of neuromuscular diseases.

At the special presentation Wednesday was Wisconsinite Mike Neufedlt of Harley-Davidson who, as a child, was also given that distinct honor of being a national ambassador.
