MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brookfield native and Nashville singer-songwriter Nora Collins released her newest single, 'Neon Healing,' overnight.
She told CBS 58 Morning News anchor Mike Curkov that it's a "good old fashioned drinking song" and that it is something we need right now.
Like many of us, Nora has been under safer at home orders, choosing to spend the time at her parents' home in Brookfield instead of in Nashville. Even with the orders lifted, she still can't perform in front of crowds.
She says she's waiting on the green light from the powers that be.
"I just want to make sure everyone is going to be safe and that it will be enjoyable for everybody and we don't have to worry about what's going on." Collins said.
Nora performed 'Neon Healing' on her acoustic guitar during the CBS 58 Morning News at 7 on WMLW the M. Watch the video above for that perfomance. You can listen to the studio version on Nora's YouTube page by clicking here.
