Neighbors hold vigil for 33-year old woman killed in front of her children

A grieving daughter finds comfort in the arms of a loved one.

\"The little girls, they're not going wake up on Christmas and see their mother anymore,\" said Quinetta Carter, a neighbor.

The girl and her sister both witnessed the shooting death of their mother-- Karen Bradley.

A makeshift memorial sits outside their home near 77th and Bender, where many neighbors left stuffed animals and candles, as they gathered for a prayer vigil Friday evening.

Milwaukee Police say the shooting happened early Friday morning.  Officers believe a domestic dispute led to the shooting.  They believe the woman's husband, Anthony Bradley, fled the scene after shooting her.  Neighbors still remember hearing the girls cry for help.

\"The scream, of terror, and can't nobody help them,\" said Carter.

Anthony Bradley left this message on Karen's Facebook page just minutes after the shooting, in reads in part-- \"Lord knows I loved u (sic) to death.\"

He also posted another message directed toward Karen's daughters that reads in part-- \"I'm bout (sic) to go get rid of myself  I'm so sorry I loved your moms (sic).\"

As police track him down-- neighbors are praying for the girls' safety.

If you know anything that can help, call 911.
