Muskego Police warn of two scams "running rampant"

The City of Muskego Police Department has issued a warning about two scams that they say are \"running rampant.\"

The first scam is people getting calls from an unknown subject, claiming to be their grandchild and needing money to get out of jail.

The second scam is a call from someone claiming to be the IRS and saying that you owe money and will get arrested if you do not pay immediately.

Muskego Police advise citizens to be cautious and DO NOT give out any personal information to anyone and do not send anyone money in these cases.

If you have any questions or concerned, you're asked to call the Muskego Police Department at 262-679-4130.
