MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee' midtown neighborhood is home to a new piece of art.
On Friday, a new mural was unveiled at the Running Rebels building near 13th and Fond du Lac. The mural has a rainbow of colors and the Malcolm X quote "stand for something or fall for anything."
The artists say the mural represents a neighborhood coming together and working towards positive change.
"We explored these ideas through team building exercises and group discussion and ended up making a list of some of the words; addiction, peer pressure. Different things that we literally stand and fall for," said artist McKenzy Brown.
The mural was a collaboration between young artists from the Running Rebels, Safe and Sound, and Express Yourself Milwaukee.
