UNION GROVE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Multiple homes were ravaged by fire in the Hickory Haven mobile home park outside Union Grove Saturday night, on July 2, which Racine County Sheriffs Deputies said was started by someone grilling in a garage, leaving multiple people without a home.
Deputies said that fire spread to multiple homes, even melting the siding on this one several homes away.
At least five different fire departments responded, including Union Grove, Burlington, Kansasville, Paris, and Rochester at the park off Schoen Road.
Sheriffs officials said no one was killed in these fires.
Neighbors said their thoughts and prayers are with those that lost their homes tonight.
"When I walked out and saw the fire I was shocked because being out here, nothing's happened in the last like, four years I've lived here. Three or four years I lived here. Nothing's happened. So when I saw the fire, it's like, oh my gosh, what's going on? Because it is such a quiet place. It's very peaceful out here," said neighbor Julie Morrison.
Numerous water tankers were also called to the scene because there are no hydrants here.
