MPS hosts free lead screening clinic at South Division High School

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Public Schools hosted another free lead screening clinic Tuesday, to test whether kids have high levels of lead in their system.

Tuesday's clinic was hosted at South Division High School, where kids were tested with the prick of a finger.

It comes after high levels of lead were found in several schools across the city, though many have since been cleared of the toxic metal.

The district hopes to test students at all schools built before 1950 by the end of the summer.
