MPD: Two injured in overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred on Sunday, Sept. 13 that left two people injured. 

Milwaukee police say the first shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. near 5th and Bruce. The victim, a 32-year-old man, was standing outside when a suspect inside a car fired several shots, striking him. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Officials say police are also investigating a shooting that happened around 3 a.m. A 43-year-old Milwaukee man walked into a local hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The location and circumstances of the shooting are under investigation. 

There are no known suspects for either of the shootings.
