MPD: Triple shooting under investigation near 34th and Wright

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a triple shooting that happened near 34th and Wright Streets Thursday morning, March 17. 

Officials say it happened around 8:19 a.m.

According to police, during an argument, multiple suspects exchanged gunfire and three people were shot; a 34-year-old Milwaukee woman, a 17-year-old Milwaukee girl, and a 21-year-old Milwaukee man. All sustained non-fatal injuries. 

The male victim and a 41-year-old Milwaukee woman were arrested in connection.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.

Milwaukee police continue to seek additional suspects.
