MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are warning about an uptick in business burglaries throughout the District 4 area. 

Officials say the burglaries are occurring between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. 

According to police, the suspect(s) are using various methods to enter businesses depending on the layout. Police say entry may be gained by, kicking in the door, smashing the windows or glass front doors.

Burglars tend to take cash from registers and store merchandise. The suspect(s) has been causing significant damage to the buildings including the computers, hard drives and camera systems.
