MPD Searching for Suspect after Early Mother's Day Shooting

Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 8 at about 2:00 AM in the area of 4th and North Avenue. According to a press release, an adult man was shot after a confrontation.
The victim brought himself to a local hospital where he was treated for what is believed to be a non-life threatening injury.
MPD continues to search for a suspect and investigate the incident.
