MPD Officers injured in two car crash Saturday morning
MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- Two Milwaukee Police Officers were injured in a two car collision early Saturday morning on Milwaukee’s far northwest side. An MPD squad and a private vehicle collided in the intersection of N 76th Street and W Good Hope Road around 1:30 AM. According to the MPD,the private vehicle disregarded a red light, crossed into the intersection and collided with the squad car. Two male Officers in the vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital. One of the Officers is 33-years- old with 15 years on the job and the other is 37-years-old and with 10 years on the job.
The 24-year- old female driver was not injured in the collision. She remained on the is cooperating with authorities.
