MPD: Milwaukee man fatally shot near Riverwest neighborhood

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened near the city's Riverwest neighborhood on Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Police say a 47-year-old Milwaukee man was killed near Locust and Holton around 1:45 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
