MPD: Man seriously injured after crash near 76th and Douglas, 1 arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- Milwaukee police say a 25-year-old man sustained serious injuries after a crash near 76th and Douglas Monday, May 17.

It happened at 2 a.m.

Police say a car struck the 25-year-old driver as he was making a left turn. The driver of the striking car fled the scene. 

The victim was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.

The driver of the striking vehicle was later identified as a 28-year-old man. He was arrested.

Police say criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
