MPD: Man fatally shoots his girlfriend near 75th and Locust

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 25-year-old man fatally shot his 24-year-old girlfriend near 75th and Locust around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the victim was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The suspect is in custody.
Police say there is evidence of alcohol use.
Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
