MPD investigating two Thursday night shootings

The Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings on Thursday night.

Around 6:15 PM, a 22-year-old woman was shot as she was walking in the area of N 21st and W Chambers Streets.  She was taken to a local hospital where she is being treated for a non-life threatening injury.   After investigating the incident, the Milwaukee Police will be arresting a known suspect in what they believe to be an accidental shooting.

In what appears to be a robbery, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and is being treated at a local hospital for a non-life threatening wound.   According to the Milwaukee Police, the robbery-shooting happened around 10:45 PM in the area of  N 42nd Street and W Concordia Avenue.   The MPD is seeking suspects in the shooting as it continuing its investigation of the incident .
