MPD investigating two non-fatal shootings from Thursday

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred Thursday night.

According to police, the first shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. near Teutonia and Congress. Authorities say a 20-year-old man was shot while sitting in a car. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing and police are searching for suspects.

In an unrelated shooting, a 38-year-old man was shot near 35th and Clarke. Police say the man was walking to a friend’s house when he was shot. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the incident.
