MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the area of N Vel R Phillips and W Keefe Avenues. According to the MPD, a 35-year-old man was driving his vehicle through the area around 2:45 AM when he was shot. The victim was taken by several known associates to a local hospital where he died. The reason for the shooting is not clear at this time as the MPD continues to investigate the incident.
