MPD investigating east side armed robberies; several victims targeted on Lake Drive

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating several armed robberies that happened on Lake Drive, on the city's east side.

The robberies happened between Sunday July 11, 2021, at 8:55 p.m. and Monday, July 12, around 12:50 a.m., near Lake Drive and Belleview Place.

According to police, the suspects approached victims and demanded property. They fled in a silver vehicle.

Authorities describe two of the suspect as Black males, 16-20 years old. Police say they are suspected of being involved in at least six robberies or attempted robberies.
