MPD Investigates Separate Incidents

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was stabbed while on an MCTS bus Monday night. According to the Milwaukee Police, the man was stabbed in his side, which is not considered to be life threatening.  He is being treated at a local hospital.  The incident happened around 8:10 PM near N 26th and W Capital Drive.  Police have not identified suspects at this time and are continuing to investigate the incident.

In a separate incident about 20 minutes later, an 18-year-old man was shot near N 28th  and W Burleigh Streets.  The victim was with another male when they heard gunshots.  The 18-year-old was hit. His friend transported him to a local hospital to be treated for what appears to be a non-life threatening injury.  Milwaukee police are still searching for a suspect and continue to investigate the incident.
