MPD investigates overnight shooting

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting overnight, fortunately, it was not fatal.

Around 3:30 AM, the Police were called to a shooting in the area of  N Vel R Phillips Avenue and W Randolph Street where they found a 41-year-old man with what is described as a non-fatal gunshot wound.   The Milwaukee Fire Department treated the man and then transported him to a local hospital.   The circumstance that lead up to the shooting are still being investigated by the MPD.
