MPD: Firearm stolen from off-duty police officer's car

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating after an off-duty officer's gun was stolen from his vehicle. 

It happened just before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22 near 24th and Vliet. 

The suspect entered the off-duty officer's vehicle and took his service firearm. 

The incident remains under investigation and police continue to seek an unknown suspect.
