MPD: 37-year-old Milwaukee man killed in shooting near Oakland and Thomas

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that Saturday, Nov. 6 near Oakland and Thomas.

Police report that the shooting happened at approximately 10:06 a.m. Saturday.

Reports show that the victim, a 37-year-old Milwaukee man, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries following the shooting where he later died.

Milwaukee police say the shooting is the result of an argument.

Authorities say that the suspect, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, was arrested.

Criminal charges will reportedly be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the upcoming days.
