MPD: 20-year-old woman injured in drug-related shooting

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A 20-year-old Milwaukee woman was injured in a shooting Monday night, Oct. 11., police say her injuries are non-life threatening. 

It happened near 103rd St and Congress around 8:25 p.m.

Milwaukee police continue to investigate the incident, but they say the circumstances leading up to the shooting appear to be drug related.

A suspect is in custody, and it was determined that the suspect accidentally discharged a firearm, shooting the victim.
