MPD: 2 shot in overnight shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating two shootings that occurred Friday, Sept. 25.

According to police:

47th and Center

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was shot on the 2700 block of 47th around 6 p.m. The victim was outside a residence when shots were fired and was subsequently struck. He walked into a local hospital for treatment with non-life threatening injuries. There are no known suspects.

19th and Congo

A 37-year-old Milwaukee man sustained serious injuries after being shot in the 1900 block of Congo around 7 p.m. He walked into a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. There are no known suspects.
