MPD: 18-year-old Milwaukee woman shot in Layton Park neighborhood

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is investigating a shooting that happened on Friday, July 23.
It happened shortly before 6 p.m. on the 2200 block of Middlemass Street.
MPD says an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman arrived at a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Police are seeking an unknown suspect.
